Patricia Pelletier is the Director of the Risk Assessment Bureau of Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Directorate (CPSD) where she is responsible for information and data management including mandatory incident reporting and cosmetic notifications; triage; surveillance and monitoring; risk assessment; outreach and education; international engagement; and management of the Product Safety Laboratory.

Patricia has 19 years of service within the Government of Canada encompassing consumer product safety, environmental health research, biomonitoring, chemical emergency preparedness and response, climate change and air pollutant policy, and vehicle emissions testing. Prior to joining the federal government, Patricia worked for an environmental engineering consulting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
