I have just completed my product-safety book "Engineering Ethics and Design for Product Safety," 2021, published by McGraw Hill. It is a product-design book focused on product safety based on ethical behavior by engineers and their management.
My prior experiences include Exponent (Failure Analysis Associates) and Triodyne. I am a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Arizona and Utah.
Presently, I am an engineering professor for Product-Safety Engineering & Ethics, System Safety, and Industrial Safety & Health.
I am also Faculty of the Ergonomics & Safety (E&S) Program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) and the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational & Environmental Health (RMCOEH)--a NIOSH Education and Research Center (ERC)--at the University of Utah Department of Family & Preventive Medicine (DFPM).
