The purpose of this Associated Meeting is continue to discuss with all interested stakeholders the value of and interest in the creation of a safety process standard or guidance that would provide innovators with a process for determining the appropriate safety criteria for their innovative product or innovative feature(s) of more traditional products. The creation of the standard or guidance document would attempt to address the current absence of guidance in this area.
