Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This interactive panel will discuss how to integrate safety into the design and manufacturing process. This includes going beyond safety standards, especially when standards aren’t keeping up with new technology or don’t exist for a product and involves understanding consumer behavior, being able to predict consumer use patterns, and tools to design solutions to hazards that don't themselves become a hazard. The panel will discuss scenarios, highlighting best practices and strategies for anticipating safety issues more effectively in design.
