Small part release continues to be a leading cause of recalls and consumer injury. The diverse backgrounds of the panelists will first expose the hazards of different types of small parts and foreign bodies via medical expert discussion, then offer practical solutions from a safety consulting lab and manufacturer perspective. By understanding the hazards, foreseeable uses, and biomechanics, panelists will continue to divulge key information to mitigate potential hazards through design direction and manufacturing process controls.
